As a former high-ranking member of the RCMP I very much disagree with the NDP Candidates assessment that “...an RCMP investigation would be a moot point...”. Upholding our democracy, institutions and rule of law should never be watered down to a mere moot point. Wayne Stetski has aligned himself with Justin Trudeau once again and appears to be in favour of sweeping it under the carpet, putting “...the scandal in the past, and hopes everyone involved can move on.” 

In stark contrast to the NDP Candidate’s position, I stand firmly with Jody Wilson-Raybould and her courageous effort to defend the integrity of Canada’s justice system and her independent role as Attorney General.

Justin Trudeau tried to intimidate her. He tried to go around her. He oversaw a sustained campaign of pressure to make her give his well-connected friends a special deal. When she still said no, Trudeau fired Jody Wilson-Raybould. Justin Trudeau and Wayne Stetski continue to let Canada down. Let’s not let them do it again.
