Kootenay-Columbia Conservative Candidate, Rob Morrison, is set to host MP Blake Richards and MP Bob Zimmer for a special Town Hall in Cranbrook. This Town Hall is open to the public and will include discussion on a number of important issues facing the people of Kootenay-Columbia.
Small Business: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Finance Minister Bill Morneau have made it clear what they think of small business owners in Canada and have already tried once to levy a sweeping tax on small business. They will try again and we need to hear from you!
Economy: Canada is in need of leadership in terms of balancing budgets, getting our resource families back to work, building pipelines and more. We need a smaller government that values leaving more money in your pockets.
Outdoors: Kootenay-Columbia is one of Canada's outdoor gems where Heritage pursuits such as hunting and fishing are more than just sport. Locals issues include a much needed response to the Liberal's gun legislation (Bill C71), the selenium issue in the Elk Valley, back country access issues and many more.
We encourage you to come out and speak directly with your next Member of Parliament, Rob Morrison, on these issues and get feedback from two Members of Parliament who are close to these issues.
MP Blake Richards: Shadow Minister for Small Business, Export and Tourism
MP Bob Zimmer: Chair of the Ethics Committee & Co-Chair of the Parliamentary Outdoor Caucus
