This notice is to advise of the date, time, and place of the voting location for the Kootenay-Columbia nomination contest.

Candidate Nomination Vote: Nelson

Where: The Osprey Room - Best Western (153 Baker St, Nelson, BC V1L 4H1)
When: Thursday, October 25
Call to order and candidate speeches will begin at 9:15 am
Voting will be from 9:30am to 12:00pm.

Candidate Nomination Vote: Creston

Where: Gin’s on Canyon (122 Northwest Blvd, Creston, BC V0B 1G2)
When: Thursday, October 25
Call to order and candidate speeches will begin at 3:00pm
Voting will be from 3:15pm to 7:00pm.

Candidate Nomination Vote: Invermere

Where: Best Western (Invermere Inn - 1310 7th Ave, Invermere, BC V0A 1K0)
When: Friday, October 26
Call to order and candidate speeches will begin at 12:00pm
Voting will be from 12:15pm to 6:00pm.

Candidate Nomination Vote: Sparwood

Where: Causeway Bay Hotel (102 Red Cedar Dr, Sparwood, BC V0B 2G0)
When: Saturday, October 27
Call to order and candidate speeches will begin at 8:00am
Voting will be from 8:15am to 10:00am.

Candidate Nomination Vote: Cranbrook

Where: The Heritage Inn Hotel (803 Cranbrook St N, Cranbrook, BC V1C 3S2)
When: Saturday, October 27
Call to order and candidate speeches will begin at 1:00pm
Voting will be from 1:15pm to 6:00pm.

In order to vote you must provide identification using either:

• One original piece of identification issued by a Canadian federal, provincial or territorial government agency containing the member’s photograph, name and address,

OR

• Two original pieces of identification, which contain the member’s name, one of which contains the member’s photograph and one of which contains the member’s address.

Identification requirements shall be subject to the exercise of discretion by the returning officer to waive specific requirements where exceptional circumstances warrant.
