What are your plans for the coal industry in Kootenay-Columbia (the Elk Valley) Jagmeet Singh and Wayne Stetski?

You say that you favour your New Deal over “caving to big polluters.” Why did you choose an image of the Elkview Coal mine to represent the bad guy in your plan? Did you know this mine produces metallurgical coal which is used in the process of creating steel? Did you know that the demand for metallurgical coal is highly coupled to the demand for steel? Your attack on the 920 hardworking men and women who work at this mine is an attack on the very Unions that you seek support from. 

Conservatives stand in support of the good people of the Elk Valley and the hard-working men and women of the Elkview Coal Mine.
