Lumber mills are closing down across the country and thousands of forestry workers have already lost their jobs in British Columbia...

Indeed we have been impacted by this in our own riding and we need action and leadership to correct this problem. 

A Conservative government, with Rob Morrison representing Kootenay-Columbia, will go to work following the election to address the lingering softwood lumber dispute, the remaining buy American provisions, the disjointed regulatory regimes, and the difficulties with cross-border business travel. Canadian forestry workers deserve stability and predictability from their government.
